Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (University of Delhi), a NAAC A++ accredited institution, invites online applications for the appointment of Principal in the Academic Pay Level 14 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix. Eligible candidates with a Ph.D. Degree, Professor/Associate Professor with at least 15 years of teaching/research experience, a minimum of 10 research publications in UGC Care List and SCOPUS Publications, and a minimum of 110 Research Score are invited to apply. Salary and Pay Scale

- Research Publications: A minimum of 10 research publications in UGC Care List and SCOPUS Publications.
- Research Score: A minimum of 110 Research Score as per the criteria in Annexure V.
- Vigilance Clearance: Upload Vigilance Clearance Certificate from the parent department/organization/institution.

Note: Fee once paid will not be refunded. No application fee shall be charged from applicants who had applied for the same post in the preceding advertisement, subject to the condition that interview for the said post had not been conducted.
Selection Procedure
- Scrutiny: A Screening Committee (as per Annexure II) will scrutinize applications and award points based on the criteria notified by the University.
- Shortlisting: A list of candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility qualifications will be prepared, and points will be awarded based on the screening criteria. A total research score of 110 is required.
- Selection Committee: The Governing Body shall forward a panel of names on the recommendation of a Selection Committee (composition as per Annexure II).
- University Level Consideration: The list shall be considered by a University-level Selection Committee (composition as per Annexure II). On its recommendation, the University shall transmit to the Governing Body a list of persons in order of preference whom the University would be prepared to recognize as Principal.
- Appointment: The appointment of the Principal shall be made by the Governing Body in accordance with Ordinance XVII of the University.
- Tenure: A College Principal shall be appointed for a period of five years, extendable for another term of five years on the basis of performance assessment by a committee appointed by the University.
Note: The Principal shall, in addition to his duties as Principal, be required to undertake some teaching work in the college or University as per Clause 7(i) of Ordinance XVIII.
