Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.Phil/Ph.D
Subject: Filling up of the post of Director in Central Institute of Horticulture, Medziphema, Dimapur Distt., Nagaland on deputation (ISTC) basis, a subordinate office under Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
i. It is proposed to fill up one post of Director (General Central Service, Group 'A', Gazetted, Non- Ministerial) in Pay Level-13A in the Pay Matrix on deputation (ISTC) basis as per the existing notified amended RRs, G.S.R. 62. dated 28th June, 2021 in Central Institute of Horticulture, Medziphema, Dimapur Distt., Nagaland, a subordinate office under Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.

3. Eligibility Conditions:-
Deputation (includinq short-term contract): Officers under the Central or State Government or Union Territory Administration or Public Sector Undertaking or recognized research Institute or Agricultural university or Statutory or Autonomous organization :-
(a) (i) holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department;
(ii) with two years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 13 (Rs. 1, 18,500-2, 14, 100) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;
(iii) with six years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pay level 12 (Rs. 78,800-2,09,200) in the pay matrix in the parent cadre or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely:-
(i) Master's Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized University;
(ii) Doctorate in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized University;
(iii) Twelve years' experience in the field of horticultural development or horticulture research in Central or State Government or Union Territory or Public Sector Undertaking or recognized research Institute or Agricultural University or Statutory or Autonomous organization.
4. Regulation of pay and other terms of deputation:- The pay of the officer selected on "deputation" basis will be regulated in the scale of pay attached to the post in accordance with DOPT 0M No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010 as amended from time to time.

Selection will be based on deputation (ISTC) basis

Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Room No. 37B, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi-110001 within 60 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar :-
(i) Cadre clearance;
(ii) Integrity certificate
(iii) List of major/minor penalties imposed if any, on the official during the last 10 years; (if no penalty has been imposed a 'Nil' certificate should be enclosed)
(iv) Vigilance clearance certificate
(v) Attested photocopies of the ACRs/APARs for the last 5 (five) years (2015-16 to 2019-20) (attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of an Under Secretary to the Govemment of India)
(vi) Last pay certificate duly certified by DDO/Administrative Officer indicating the scale of pay drawn by the officer in the revised & pre-revised (indicating Grade pay) scale of pay.
