A Walk-in-interview will be held on 0?.1032022 at 10.30 A.M. in the Bhojraj Seth Conference Hallof the Vice-Chancellor's Office, D.U. fora post of Assistant Professor on contract basis in the Centre for Studies in Journalism and Mass Communication, Dibrugarh University, with the following qualifications.
1. Post Name: Assistant Professor
2. Qualification: MA in Mass Communication or equivalent degree and having special paper / profound knowledge of New Media & Photography with NET/SET/Ph.D and UGC norms.
3. Remuneration. Rs. 25,0001- per month (Consolidated).

Dibrugarh University was established in 1965 at Rajabheta. Dibrugarh district known internationally as a rich tea producing district is also known for its rich reserve of minerals like coal, oil, and natural gas. The territorial jurisdiction of Dibrugarh University covers seven districts of Upper Assam, viz, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Jorhat, Golaghat, Dhemaji, and Lakhimpur.
