Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Eligible Candidates: Officers serving under Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territories only.
Condition (a) — Post Held: Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following:
- (a)(i): Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
- OR
- (a)(ii): Having at least five years of service rendered on a regular basis at Level 12 (Rs. 78,800 – Rs. 209,200) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department.
Condition (b) — Educational Qualification & Experience: Candidates must also possess at least one of the following:
- (b)(i): Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electronics, Telecommunications, Communications, Computer Science, or Information Technology, OR Master's degree in Physics or Computer Applications from a recognised University or Institute — with ten (10) years' experience in Radio Communication, Computer Communication, or Satellite Communication.
- OR
- (b)(ii): Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Electronics, Telecommunications, Communications, Computer Science, or Information Technology from a recognised University or Institute — with eight (8) years' experience in Radio Communication, Computer Communication, or Satellite Communication.
Selection Process & Deputation Conditions
- The selection will be made on the basis of eligibility and suitability of the applicant, as assessed by the Directorate of Coordination Police Wireless, MHA.
- Applications will be screened for completeness including APAR dossiers, certificates, and verified particulars. Incomplete applications or applications received after the last date will not be considered.
- The period of deputation (including any prior deputation in another ex-cadre post in the same or another organisation/department of the Central Government) shall ordinarily not exceed five (5) years. The initial appointment is for three (3) years.
- Once selected, candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.
- Departmental officers in the feeder category in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for appointment by deputation or absorption. Deputationists are not eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
- The forwarding authority must verify all particulars furnished by the officer and attach necessary certificates along with the APAR dossier.

- Two recent passport-size photographs and Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / PAN / Voter ID).
