Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Technician (Electronics): Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, or a combination of the above from a recognized institution or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in installation and maintenance of wireless transmitters, receivers, aerial systems, and associated power plant.
- Desirable: Experience in handling microwave equipment.
- Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 8 December 2026.
- Other: Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are eligible. Selected candidates are liable to be transferred anywhere in India.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection will be carried out in three stages:
- Written Examination: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (40 Marks General Knowledge / Aptitude; 60 Marks Technical). 1/3rd negative marking for wrong answers. Mobile phones and calculators are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.
- Trade Test: Qualifying in nature, conducted for candidates qualified in the written exam.
- Certificate Verification: Final stage for provisionally selected candidates.
No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the examination or trade test.
Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates
- Application form in prescribed format (Annexure-I), filled in capital letters using blue or black ballpoint pen.
- Normal signature and left thumb impression.
- Two identical passport-size colour photographs (one extra to be enclosed).
- Self-Attested photocopy of Matriculation / Higher Secondary Certificate.
- Self-Attested photocopy of Educational/Technical qualification and all mark lists.
- Income & Asset Certificate for EWS (Annexure-IV), valid for Financial Year 2026-27 (based on FY 2025-26 income).
- Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen and NOC for currently employed candidates.
Note: Current vacancies are specifically earmarked for the EWS category. Incomplete, unsigned, or applications without thumb impressions will be rejected.
