Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the prescribed Senior Grade Shorthand and Typewriting qualifications in both Kannada and English.
- Stenographer Grade-III:
- General Education: 2nd PUC / 12th Pass or Equivalent.
- Shorthand: Senior Grade Kannada and English Shorthand Examination.
- Typewriting: Senior Grade Kannada and English Typewriting Examination.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection will be conducted in two stages:
- Qualifying Shorthand Test: Separate dictation in Kannada and English at 120 WPM for 5 minutes with 45 minutes transcription time. Minimum qualifying marks: 50/100.
- Interview: 10 Marks for candidates qualifying the shorthand test.
Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection tests.

- All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (PUC, Shorthand, Typewriting).
- Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central/State Government prescribed format.

- Signature scan (Black ink, 2.5cm x 7.5cm, Max 25KB).
