The District Court, Warangal was established in the year 1956. The District has 37 number of Courts, i.e., 12 District Courts, 6 Senior Civil Judge Courts and 19 Junior Civil Judge Courts.

Thereafter the Hon’ble High Court for the State of Telangana has bifurcated the erstwhile Warangal into six Judicial districts i.e., Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Mulugu and Jayashankar Bhupalapally.

Warangal District is functioning 12 number courts i.e., (4) District Courts, (2) Senior Civil Judge Court, (6) Junior Civil Judges Courts from 02-06-2022.

After the Hon'ble High Court has sanctioned (2) Courts to Warangal Unit i.e., one (1) Addl. District & Sessions Judge at Warangal and one (1) Junior Civil Judge at Narsampet, accordingly the Courts Spl. Sessions Court for SPE & ACB Cases cum III Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Warangal and Addl. Junior Civil Judge's Court, Narsampet has been inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Justice of High Court for the State of Telangana on 16.03.2024.
