Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Court Assistant (Retired Employees – First Preference): Any retired person who has not exceeded 64 years of age as on 01.07.2026 and has held any post in the Telangana Judicial Ministerial and Subordinate Service or any retired person who held the post of Assistant, Examiner, Typist, Copyist and above in the Telangana State High Court Service.
• Court Assistant (Outsiders – Fallback): Must have passed Graduation or any equivalent examination. This category applies only if suitable retired employees from Telangana Judicial Ministerial and Subordinate Service and High Court Service are not available.

Preference: Local candidates – persons residing in Warangal station or near about place – will be given preference.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Stage 1 – Application Scrutiny: Applications will be screened for eligibility against the prescribed qualification, age limit, and documentary requirements.
• Stage 2 – Appointment by Eligibility: Appointment will be made based on eligibility criteria. Retired employees from the Telangana Judicial Ministerial & Subordinate Service or High Court Service are given first preference. Only if no suitable retired candidate is found will eligible outsiders possessing graduation be considered.
• No written examination or interview is prescribed in the notification; selection is purely on documentary scrutiny.
• No TA/DA will be paid for journeys performed in connection with the recruitment process.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Graduation or Equivalent)
• Retirement Proceedings (applicable for retired Judicial Ministerial & Subordinate Service employees)
• Duly Attested Copies of all educational qualification certificates
• Two Recent Passport-Size Colour Photographs affixed on the prescribed proforma
• Application must be submitted strictly in the prescribed proforma provided in the notification
• Submit to Office of the Principal District Judge, Warangal by post or in person on or before 24 October 2026 by 05:00 PM
• Applications with insufficient information, without necessary enclosures, or without proper attestation will be summarily rejected
• The appointing authority reserves the right to cancel the notification without assigning any reason

Court Working Hours: The Spl. Judicial Second Class Magistrate Court (Excise), Warangal functions for 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, between 7:30 AM and 10:30 AM.
