Skills / Eligibility
Walk-in-Interview will be conducted for the following purely project-based temporary positions at G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment, Sikkim Regional Centre (GBPNIHE-SRC), Panthang, Gangtok, Sikkim. 1. Position: Junior Project Fellow (01) 2. Emoluments: (@ Rs. 20,000 per month + 8% HRA or min. Rs. 1,800 as per Govt. norms) 3. Essential: i. First class Master degree in Botany/ Forestry/ Environment Science/ Social Science, or relevant disciplines. 4. Desirable: i. Physically fit to work in the Himalayan Region. ii. Experience in conducting survey, and data analysis. iii. Efficiency in Computer & RS/ GIS related work 5. In-House Project No.-02 "Community driven eco-smart model village development to improve livelihoods and fostering ecological security in the Himalaya

Eligible candidates may appear for Walk-In-Interview on 23 November 2021 at 10:30 A.M. onwards, both through online/ off-line mode, at G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment, Sikkim Regional Centre, Panthang, Gangtok, Sikkim. Candidates must bring all original documents, certificates, testimonials, publications/thesis/dissertation/reports, etc., along with one set (photocopy) of all the documents and CV. Those candidates who wish to appear for interview through online mode should send advance copy of the bio-data along with application in the prescribed format with all supporting documents to the Regional Centre Head, GBPNIHE, Sikkim Regional Centre by e-mail ([email protected]) on or before 21 November, 2021
