Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for following purely project based temporary positions under Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) funded projects at Himachal Regional Center of the Institute.
1. Position: Project Assistant
2. No of Post: 01
3. Emoluments: Rs. 24,000/- p.m. fixed
4. Essential Qualification: First class Master Degree in Environmental Science/Zoology/ Remote Sensing & GIS /Soil Science from a recognized University with two years research experience
5. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having at least two years research experience on data collection, data analysis, documentation, organization of meetings & training programs, and knowledge on RS/GIS software including ERDAS Imagine and Arc GIS.
6. Nature of Duties: Assessment of Soil Quality, Erosion and Siltation around Sainj HEP. Assessment of change in migration pattern of aquatic and terrestrial fauna. Assessment of aquatic ecology. Training, field demonstration to stakeholders.

Selection Procedure
The shortlisted candidates will be informed separately about the date of interview. The interview will be held either physical or virtual mode (Audio/Video) as the conditions deemed fit due to COVID-19 scenario.
