Salary, allowances, and other conditions of service shall follow the prevailing rules of the Government of Maharashtra.
Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Experience: Eminent person in public life with at least 20 years of experience in the functioning of the Government or a public authority (as per Section 13(5) of Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act, 2015).
- Skills: Knowledge of relevant laws, understanding of quasi-judicial procedures, and administrative leadership ability.
- Affidavit: Mandatory affidavit stating no pending criminal cases or disciplinary proceedings.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Scrutiny: Applications are scrutinised by a Secretary-level Committee under Government Circular No. RTS-1120/CR-55/18.
- Shortlisting: A shortlist is prepared and submitted to the committee under Section 13(3) of the Act.
- Final Selection: Selection is made by the Committee chaired by the Hon'ble Chief Minister.
Note: No separate interview stage is announced for candidates exceeding a specific count as per the general notification; however, selection rests with the high-level committee. No TA/DA will be paid for any stage of the recruitment process.
