GMC Khammam Recruitment 2026: 60 Outsourcing Posts – Apply Offline

Government Medical College Khammam has invited applications for 60 outsourcing-based vacancies across 17 post categories. Eligible candidates must submit the prescribed application form with self-attested documents in person by 5:00 PM on 31 October 2026. The engagement is for one year or until further orders and should not be treated as a permanent cadre appointment.

Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

*Age note: The common age range is 18–44 years, with general age eligibility calculated as on 1 July 2024. The notified upper-age relaxation is 5 years for SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates, 10 years for persons with disabilities and 3 years for Ex-Servicemen, subject to the applicable rules.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Only candidates satisfying the prescribed qualification, experience, registration and local appointment-unit requirements are eligible. The available appointment units are Khammam District and Zone-IV, covering Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanumakonda districts. Candidates must check the unit assigned to the selected post and provide applicable study or residence certificates.

• Nursing Officer (Staff Nurse ICU): B.Sc Nursing or GNM, with registration in the Telangana Nursing Council.
• Carpenter: Government-recognized ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
• Barber: Ability to read and write Telugu and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Cataloguer (Central Records): Certificate course in Library Science from a recognized institution.
• Data Entry Operator: Degree from a recognized university or institution, PGDCA or computer knowledge, and a typing or data-entry speed of at least 8,000 key depressions per hour.
• Electrician: ITI Electrician Trade certificate or equivalent, with at least 5 years of electrical-work experience.
• Plumber: ITI certificate in the relevant trade or equivalent qualification.
• Record Clerk / Record Assistant: Diploma in Medical Record with experience in medical-record maintenance.
• Refractionist / Optician (Ophthalmology): Prescribed minimum general qualification, 2 years of training at the School of Optometry, Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, and the required certificate.
• Tailor: Government-recognized ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
• Dhobi: Ability to read and write Telugu and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Gas Operator: Government-recognized ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
• Lab Attendant: B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology or DMLT from a recognized institution, with Telangana Para Medical Board registration.
• Office Subordinate: Passed 10th Class or equivalent examination.
• MNO / FNO: Passed 7th Class with a First Aid Certificate from a recognized institution such as St. John Ambulance; bedside experience is preferred.
• Attendant: Passed 10th Class or equivalent examination.
• Museum Assistant cum Artist: Degree or Bachelor of Fine Arts from a recognized university, with Telangana Para Medical Board registration as stated in the notification.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Application scrutiny: Applications will be scrutinized from 1 November to 10 November 2026.
2. Provisional merit list: The provisional merit list and objection period will be published from 11 November to 15 November 2026.
3. Final merit list: The final merit list is scheduled for 16 November 2026, followed by candidate selection on 20 November 2026.

The total merit score is 100 marks: 90 marks are based on the qualifying examination and 10 marks are assigned as age weightage. Age weightage is calculated as 0.5 mark for each completed year from 18 years of age, up to a maximum of 10 marks, with age reckoned as on 1 July 2026. For example, the notified weighting is 1 mark at 20 years, 6 marks at 30 years and 10 marks at 40 years.

The notification does not prescribe a separate written recruitment examination or a threshold-based screening written test. Supporting documents are assessed during application scrutiny. The final merit list will follow the applicable reservation rules and Presidential Order 2018. No TA/DA payment is provided for this recruitment under the stated notification.

1. Visit the Government Medical College Khammam official website and obtain the prescribed application form and recruitment instructions.
2. Read the notification carefully, including the post-wise qualification, local-unit requirement and document instructions.
3. Fill in personal, educational, category, experience and local-status information accurately.
