Jagatsinghpur District Invites Application for 49 Temporary Launch Drivers and Khalasi Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited from intending and eligible male candidates for the post of Temporary Launch Drivers and Khalasi is to be posted in different blocks of Jagatsinghpur district. Details of the eligibility criteria, age, qualification, etc

1. Position:

i. Temporary Lunch Driver- 24 (twenty four) nos.

ii. Temporary Boat Khalasi- 25 (twenty five) nos.

2. Eligibility

a. Nationality:- A candidate must be a citizen of India.

b. Experienced candidates shall apply within the age group of 18-60 years.

c. Knowledge in Odia: He must be able to speak read and write Odia and have

• Passed middle school examination with Odia as a language subject Or
• Passed matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non-language subject Or
• Passed in odia as language subject in the final examination of Class-VIl or above Or
• Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department

3. Minimum Educational Qualification:

He must have Passed 7th Standard as per syllabus of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or any other equivalent. For the post of Khalasi, must be having training completion certificate from the Crew Training Institute by the Government and for the post of Lunch Driver 2nd class Lunch Driving Certificate is mandatory.
