Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Age Limit: Up to 35 years on the closing date for both posts, with age relaxation as per Government of India instructions.
• Research Associate I:
  • Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree OR
  • 3 years of research, teaching, and design/development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
  • Desirable: Experience in biopolymer extraction/derivatization, superabsorbent composites/hydrogels, seed coating, biomass processing reactor handling, bioprocess engineering, scientific writing, and lab management.
• Project Associate I:
  • Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, MVSc, or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Experience in agriculture/horticulture (field and pot trials), seedling growth parameter assessment, and lab management.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

Applications will be shortlisted by the selection committee. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email regarding the interview process. The final selection will be based on interview performance. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Service Conditions & Contract Duration

• The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
• The project duration is 2 years.
• The initial appointment is for 1 year, extendable to the next year subject to satisfactory performance.
