Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution; registration with Gujarat Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
• Computer Knowledge: Basic computer application as per Gujarat Civil Services (Classification & Recruitment) Rules, 1967.
• Language: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
• Age Limit (as on 29 Oct 2026): 18‑35 years; PwD relaxations up to 45 years (category‑specific calculations provided in notification).
• Other Conditions: Must belong to notified disability categories (Low Vision, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Locomotor, Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness, Multiple Disabilities, etc.) and satisfy functional requirements where applicable.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection will be made through a two‑paper competitive Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Examination followed by merit ranking and document verification.

• Paper I – Nursing (100 marks)
• Paper II – Gujarati Language (100 marks)
• Minimum qualifying: 40 % in each paper independently.
• Negative marking: 1/4 mark per incorrect answer.
• Merit list based on combined marks.
• Document verification of original certificates.

No TA/DA will be paid for the examination or any subsequent process.
