GADVASU Invites Application for Highly Skilled DPLS Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited for Two Highly-Skilled DPLs in the University Library.

1. Name of the Post: Highly-Skilled DPLs

2. No of Post: 02

3. Essential Qualification: B.Tech. (Computer Science) / Bachelor in Computer Applications B.Sc. (IT) / B.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognized University with not less than 60% marks. 10+2 with minimum 50% marks Knowledge of Punjabi upto metric level

4. Desirable Qualifications:- M.Tech (Computer Science) / M.C.A. / M.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognized University with minimum 1 year of experience in dealing with problems of computer hardware/ software and / or networking.

5. Job responsibilities:- The Highly-Skilled DPL will be engaged to assist the library staff in performing routine functions. The services of the Highly-skilled DPL will be utilized solving problems of computer hardware / software and/ or networking and at the circulation counter, to assist the staff in compilation of reports and for uploading of data to various portals etc. and also to take care of routine work of Assistant Librarian in her absence due to leave or any other exigency.

6. Emoluments:- The DPL will be paid wages at minimum approved DC rates as per University rules. ESI &EPF contribution will be deducted as per rules. Likely Emoluments (25X457.75-11444/- , ESI 83/-, EPF 1373/-=9985/- carry home).
