IIT Ropar Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

For JRF / Project Associate I

• B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc or M.Tech/M.E./M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 60% marks (or 6 CGPA out of 10).
• Valid GATE score or other National Eligibility Test conducted by Central Government Institutions.
• Applicants without GATE may be considered with lower emoluments.

For Research Associate III

• PhD with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
• PhD thesis submitted candidates can also apply.
