Educational Qualification: B.Com
Applications are invited for Two post of Office Assistant (On Contract) in the project entitled "Institutional Development Plan (IDP) for Improved Learning Outcome, Skill and Entrepreneurship at GADVASU"
1. Post Name: Office Assistant
2. No of Post: 02
3. Essential Qualification:
Senior Secondary (10+2) with minimum of 50% marks. Graduation degree in Commerce Stream from recognized university with not less than 50% marks. Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matriculation level.
4. Desirable Qualification: Experience candidates with Master's degree from Commerce stream will be preferred. Basic knowledge of Computer (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word etc.)
5. Job Responsibility:
Prepare budget/ Utilization certificate of the project Timely reconciliation of accounts and submission of financial progress report as prescribed under rules. Prepare and maintain the contingent registers, cash book, stock registers of the project Attend/Visit institutes for meetings related to the project outside the HQ (including Stay) Any other duty assigned from time to time
6. Emoluments: Fixed Rs.20323/- per month (with statutory deduction)

Selection Procedure
Only short-listed candidates should be called to appear for verification of documents on 31/12/2021 at 10.00AM in the committee room of the undersigned.

1. The last date for the receipt of applications (bio-data with one recent photograph and attested photocopies of all the supporting documents/including educational qualifications, awards, higher degree, experience etc) in the office of the undersigned is 27/12/2021 up to 5.00 PM.
2. The candidates must bring original documents for verification.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

It was a part of Punjab Agricultural University and was established on 9 August 2005 to serve the society by promoting the livestock production, health and prevention of diseases through integrated teaching and extension programs. The mission of the college is to produce veterinary graduates, scientists and extension workers for promoting better livestock health, by prevention of disease, increasing production and reproduction of livestock, thus improving the quality of rural life in Punjab.
