1. Post Name: Sr. Manager / Chief Manager - Fire Services

2. Location: Haldia

3. Experience: 13 to 17

4. Roles and Responsibilities:

a. Responsible for assuring the reliability of all Fixed and Portable Fire Fighting equipment, appliances, and system in a 24x7 manner. Will be a member of the HSEF team and responsible for implemented HSEF guidelines being followed across in HPL.

b. Responsible for maintenance of all emergency systems, equipment, clean agent systems and installation honed for use in emergencies. Implement requirement of IMS in all activities (including ONSEMP, SOP, and SMP etc.). 

c. Responsible for fire services related to legal and statutory compliance. Fire protection system design/implementation verification for all new projects. Assessment of spare requirements and calculate CAPEX and Consumable requirements as per global standards. 

d. Carry out QRA in a team and bring out preventive and mitigating actions required. Carrying out job safety analysis and Job risk verification audits on daily basis. Carrying out an Emergency drill and scheduled testing of firefighting system, fire tenders and fire water pumps etc. 

e. Issue / accept work permit from the plant for carrying out maintenance job. Handle Onsite and Off-site emergencies. Provide training to plant employees on HSEFs guidelines and techniques of emergency handling Responsible for generating and maintaining all kinds of reports. 

5. Desired Candidate Profile: BE -Fire from NFSC -Nagpur, CUSAT- Cochin, IPS- Indore, or UPSE- Dehradun. Min. 12 years of working experience in Petrochemicals/oil refinery
