5. Qualification and experience as per MoE guidelines (F. No.12- 2/2019-U1 dated January 31, 2019), F. No. 51-07/2019-TS.VII (VoI. -Il) dated October 04, 2019 - Candidates with a recent M.Sc. or equivalent with good academic record.
6. Period of engagement: 6 months (review and further extension of 6 months upon satisfactory performance)
7. Fellowship/Remuneration per month (₹): Rs. 20,000 (Monthly) HRA as per norms JRF qualified candidate, Rs. 25,000 (Monthly) HRA as per norms
8. Job requirement: The position is available in the Department of Biological Sciences, to work in the molecular and cell culture laboratory, to assist with cell biology related experiments such as imaging and flow cytometry. The candidate should have prior cell culture experience and worked on research projects trying to understand physiological stress such as autophagy.

The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), are a group of premier science education and research institutes in the country. These institutions have been declared by Act of Parliament as institutions of national importance, and are intended to be the IITs of basic sciences. The institutes were created by the Government of India, through the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), under The National Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Bill, 2010, which was passed by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012. Seven IISERs have been established across India, namely IISER Kolkata in West Bengal, IISER Pune in Maharashtra, IISER Mohali in Punjab, IISER Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, IISER Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, IISER Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh and IISER Berhampur in Odisha.Together with the IISER at Berhampur, Odisha that commenced in 2016.
