Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Young Professional
- Essential Qualification: Indian Nationals holding Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Law from recognized Universities, Colleges, and Institutions of National and International repute, and/or Chartered Accountant. Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in the 3 Year LLB or 5 Year integrated LLB degree program or Post Graduation degree program or a qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Desirable: Chartered Accountants who have completed their articleship in taxation and law graduates/post graduates who have been engaged in research work/projects in taxation shall be preferred. Candidates with experience in taxation research and tax litigation matters will be given preference. Skills in ICT, good communication, and interpersonal abilities are highly desirable.
Salary/Stipend
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹60,000 (Lump Sum) per month.
- Facilities: Basic logistical support such as workspace, internet facility, stationery, access to library, and computer systems will be provided.
- Leave: 8 days leave in a calendar year on a pro-rata basis from the date of joining.
- Other Benefits: No other facilities such as DA, accommodation, residential phone/conveyance/transport, foreign travel, personal staff, medical reimbursement, CGHS, etc., would be admissible.
- Nature of Employment: This engagement neither constitutes a regular job nor an appointment of any nature in the Income Tax Department, nor is it in the nature of a relationship of employer and employee.

Selection Process
The selection process involves two stages:
