Educational Qualification

A. Project Associate-II (2 Posts)

• Essential: M.Sc./M.Tech/M.E/M.C.A in Computer Science/IT/Atmospheric Science/Geomatics/Geo-informatics/AI/ML/Data Science/Agronomy/Plant Physiology/Soil Science/Civil Engineering/Economics/Statistics or equivalent from a recognized university with First Class or >7.5% OGPA.
• Master's Degree with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor's degree.
• Candidates with 3 years Bachelor's degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/MHRD-GATE qualification or Ph.D.
• Desirable: Experience in 3D graphics, Web Map server, programming (R/IDL/C#/Python/JavaScript), cloud computing, GIS tools, crop/hydrological/climate simulation models.

B. Project Assistant (1 Post)

• Essential: Master’s Degree (M.Sc./M.E/M.Tech/M.C.A) in Geomatics/Geo-informatics/Computer Applications/Data Science/AI/ML/Atmospheric sciences/RSGIS/Agronomy/Pathology/Entomology with First Class or OGPA >6.0.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Satellite image processing, ArcGIS, Web GIS, GEE, programming in Python/R/IDL.

C. Young Professional-II (2 Posts)

• Essential: M.Sc./M.Tech/M.E/M.C.A or Ph.D in Computer Science/IT/Data Analytics/Data Science/AI/ML/Atmospheric Science/Agro-meteorology/Plant Physiology/Economics/Climate Science with First Class or OGPA >6.0.
• Desirable: Knowledge in data processing, programming (R/Python/LINUX), cloud computing, GEE, GIS tools, Open-source development.
• Note: For one post, experience in field observations on crops and handling physiology equipment (IRGA, canopy analyzer) is required.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Maximum Age: 35 years for PA-II/PA/YP-II.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST & Women: 5 years relaxation.
  • OBC: 3 years relaxation.

Mandatory Requirements

• Candidates working elsewhere must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
• Declaration of near/distant relatives working at ICAR-IARI is mandatory (if applicable).

Selection Stages
