Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Young Professional-I (YP-I)

Educational Qualification:
Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master degree in Plant Pathology / Virology / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology with 4 / 5 years of Bachelor's Degree. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET/GATE qualifications and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015, OM No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD 9th October, 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z09/2018 of DST dated 30th January, 2019. Desirable: (i) NET/GATE qualified; (ii) Research experience in Plant Virology/Molecular Plant Pathology/Molecular Biology & Biotechnology with knowledge of Computer and bioinformatics, NGS data analysis having high quality publications in SCI journal; (iii) Higher degree in relevant subject and research experience.

Young Professional-I (YP-I): Graduate with at least 60% marks in Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence/ Operating Systems/ Software Engineering/ Computer Graphics Desirable: Experience in Scientific administrative assistance, knowledge of accounts/computers (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel), Bioinformatics, Programming in R/ Python/Project management tools, Technical Writing, Web Designing etc.

Pay Scale:
INR
30000-37000/- Per Month

Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

Selection Procedure: Written Test, Skill Test and Interview. The candidates securing minimum essential marks / short listed in the written test only will be permitted to take part in further selection process.
