• Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Food Science, Food Science and Technology, Food Technology, or Biochemistry.
• Desirable Qualification: Hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, food product development, and basic computer skills.
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on the date of interview.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Only candidates meeting the essential qualifications will be called for the walk-in interview.
• Selection is based on a direct walk-in interview scheduled on 16 November 2026 at 09:30 AM.
• Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview for verification.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Candidates whose near or distant relatives are employees of ICAR/IARI must declare this in advance in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II).
• Canvassing in any form will result in immediate disqualification.

How to Attend the Walk-In Interview

1. Download the application format from the ICAR IARI Project Associate-I Official Notification PDF (Annexure-I & II).
2. Fill out the complete bio-data in the prescribed proforma.
3. Prepare two copies of the filled application form, two passport-size photographs, and one set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates, mark-sheets, and experience proof.
4. Carry all original documents for verification at the time of the interview.
5. Report on 16 November 2026 at 09:30 AM at the Division of Food Science and Postharvest Technology, NRL Building 3rd Floor, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-110012.
