Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
- Essential: Master's degree in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelor's degree.
- Alternative: Candidates with a 3 years bachelor's degree must possess UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent, OR a Ph.D. in the above disciplines as per ICAR guidelines.
- Desirable: Experience in Brassica Breeding, hybrid breeding, molecular breeding, biotechnology; proficiency in computer applications.
Only candidates possessing the essential qualification will be entertained for the interview.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Selection Mode: Direct Walk-In Interview on 26.11.2026 at 10:00 AM.
- Document Verification: Original documents and self-attested photocopies will be verified at the time of the interview.
- Declaration: Candidates must submit a signed declaration regarding employment of relatives in ICAR/IARI. If a relative is an employee, written declaration must reach the Head, Division of Genetics by 25.11.2026.
- Travel Allowance: No TA/DA or any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
