Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Educational Qualification (Chargeman): A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Marine Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized University / Institution.
- Experience Requirement: Minimum 02 years of experience in the field of hull repair or general engineering and/or in electrical or electronics trades.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years as on the notified cut-off date.
Age Relaxation Applicable
- Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates: 5 years relaxation against reserved vacancies.
- PwBD candidates: 10 years relaxation (15 years for SC PwBD candidates).
- Government Servants: Up to 05 years relaxation in accordance with Central Government instructions / orders.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection process for Indian Coast Guard Chargeman recruitment is conducted in three sequential stages:
