Note: The higher stipend applies to candidates who qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET, GATE, or national level exams of DBT/DST. The lower stipend applies to others. HRA is provided only if institutional accommodation is not availed.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Project Associate - II: Master's Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. Mandatory Experience: 2 years of research experience in fermentation, process optimization for enzyme production.
• Project Associate - I: Master's Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. No prior experience specified.

Desirable Skills: Research in fermentation, process optimization for enzyme production, and enzyme purification techniques. Experience in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations.

Condition: Candidates currently engaged in any project at CSIR-IIIM must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) before applying.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Primary Selection: Based on an Online Interview conducted via Microsoft Teams.
2. Screening Clause: A written examination may be conducted for screening if the number of eligible candidates is large.
3. Document Verification: Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview/selection as requested.
