IIM Udaipur Invites Application for Director Recruitment 2021

IIMU invites applications for the post of Director of IIM Udaipur. The Director provides academic leadership and ensures efficient administration of the Institute under the guidance of a highly distinguished Board of Governors. The candidate must be an eminent academician in management education, have demonstrated academic administration experience, and have produced extensive research of global quality.

1. Name of the Post: Director

2. Eligibility Conditions:

a) Must be a distinguished academic with Ph.D. or equivalent having at least fifteen years teaching or research experience and shall have worked as a Full Professor at a reputed institution for at least seven years, or shall have industry experience at a higher level for at least fifteen years.

b) Must be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).

3. Tenure: The Director shall hold office for a contractual tenure of five years or till they complete the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.

4. Entitlements: The Director shall be entitled to the Pay Scale in level 17, the 7th CPC, as revised from time to time by the Government of India. The Director is also entitled to variable pay based on the performance objectives set up by the Board. The Director is also authorized to draw other allowances like Dearness Allowance, etc., as may be admissible from time to time as per rules of the Government of India.

Selection Procedure

The Search-Cum-Selection Committee (SCSC) constituted by the Board will consider applications fulfilling the above criteria received in response to this advertisement and nominations received from eminent persons distinguished in the field of education, industry, commerce, social service, or public administration. The search-cum-selection process and appointment shall be per the IIM Act 2017 and IIM Rules 2018.
