Indian Institute of Mass Communication Invites Application for Registrar Recruitment 2021

Subject: Filling up of the post of Registrar in the IIMC.

i. Indian Institute of Mass Communication which is an Autonomous Society under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India proposes to fill up its vacant post of Registrar on deputation basis. The post is in Level 13 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Rs.1,23,100 - 2,15,900)

ii. The deputation period will be for 3 years which could be extended for further period as may be permissible as per Deptt. of Personnel & Training's instructions in the matter.

1. Post Name: Registrar

2. Candidates having following qualification and experience will be eligible for being considered for the post

(a) At least 10 years experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 (Level 11of 7th CPC) and above or with 5 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above, including 3 years experience in Educational Administration. Or

(b) Comparable experience in Research establishments and other institutions of higher education.

(c) 10 years administrative experience, out of which 6 years as Deputy Registrar or its equivalent post at Level 11of Pay Matrix (7th CPC).

(d) Candidates up to the age of 56 years will be considered for the post.
