Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Research Scientist-II

  • Essential: 1st class Post Graduate Degree (MSc/MTech/MBA, etc.), including integrated PG degrees, with three years post-qualification experience OR PhD.
  • Experience: Demonstrated relevant experience through publications in the specific domain applied for.
  • Skills: Knowledge of analytical software (Python, R, MATLAB, ArcGIS/QGIS, STATA, SAS); Excellent communication skills; Experience of working in a research team.
  • Specific Domain Experience Required:
    • Air Pollution Exposure Modelling: Air pollution exposure assessment and modelling.
    • Chemical Transport Modelling: Chemical Transport Modelling expertise.
    • Emission Inventory: Emission inventories and source apportionment.
    • Environmental Epidemiology: Environmental or public health data analysis.
    • Cell Culture: Laboratory experience in mammalian cell culture, transfection, aseptic techniques; Molecular biology techniques; High-throughput technologies.

Eligibility for Project Research Scientist-III

  • Essential: 1st class Post Graduate Degree in relevant discipline with five years' experience OR PhD + two years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience: Demonstrated relevant experience through publications.
  • Skills: Proficiency in one or more analytical software (Python, R, STATA, SAS, MATLAB, ArcGIS/QGIS, etc.); Excellent communication skills; Experience of working in a research team.

Eligibility for Project Technical Support-III

  • Essential: 1st class Post Graduate Degree in Science/Engineering (4-year UG Degree) in relevant discipline.
  • Skills: Demonstrated relevant experience and familiarity with any analytical software (R / Python / Advanced Excel / GIS tools) will be an advantage.
