6. Department/School/Centre: Agricultural and Food Engineering

7. Qualifications: M.Tech/MBA/PGDM/Equivalent Master degree in Agri-Business/ Agri Marketing/ /Agri- Economics/ Technology Commercialization/Entrepreneurship from UGC recognized institute/ universities having a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in technology commercialization or supported incubators or Assessment & evaluation of projects and startups; organizing workshops and training to promote Agri-incubation. At least 60% in the qualifying degree. 

8. Relevant Experience: Mentoring business of at least for 10-20 startup companies; with experience in Agri-startup eco-system and facilitated funding support to startups angels/VCs. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Agri-Business/ Agri-Marketing/ Tech Commercialization / Agro-Food Entrepreneurship/ IP & Legal aspects. The selected candidate is expected to (but not limited to)

i. Organizing bootcampus, outreach activities, investors meet, exhibitions and hackathons.

ii. initiate and look after the administrative process for smooth conducting of any business incubation activities iii. carry out proper documentation of legal work, administrative operations, and purchase associated with AFBIC as well Start-ups.

iv. help in conducting training programs, webinars, promotion, and management of incubation activities.

v. look after accounts of the AFBIC at IIT Kharagpur day-to-day basis and communicate with PI/Co-PI and Business Manager

vi. help in continuous assessment and evaluation of startups vii. Mentoring business and financial documentation for startup companies Selected candidates may not be allowed to register for Masters/PhD in IIT Kharagpur or elsewhere as the project requires full time devotion.
