1. Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer (Electrical)

2. No of Post: 01

3. Pay Level and Pay: L-07 (₹44,900-1,42,400)

4. Essential:

(i) Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering of 3 years duration in Electrical from a recognized University/Institute.

(ii) 5 years experience in relevant field as Junior Engineer with pay level 6.

5. Desirable:

(i) 5 years/ 8 years experience in relevant field as Junior Engineer with pay level 6 or on analogous post, for candidates having degree / diploma respectively.

(ii) Experience of working in Educational Institute of National importance.

(iii) Knowledge of CAD.

(iv) Experience of estimation, Electrical maintenance planning and execution of Civil Works etc. as relevant.

(v) Experience of running/maintenance of Electrical Sub-Station.

Selection Procedure

1. The Institute reserves the right to screen and shortlist the applications on the basis greater than minimum eligibility for the post such as marks, experience specialization and call only such candidates who are found Prima facie suitable for being considered by the Selection Committee.

2. Thus, just fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions would not entitle one to be called for written/trade test and/or interview. The candidates should, therefore, furnish details of all the qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field over and above the essential qualifications prescribed along with documentary evidence.
