Applications are invited for the post of “Field Worker” for a research project entitled “Source apportionment, development of emission inventory and carrying capacity determination for Durgapur, Asansol and Raniganj in West Bengal” funded by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board.
1. Name of the post: Field Worker
2. Number of posts: 03
3. Duration: Initially for 6 months, extendable upon satisfactory performance.
4. Salary: Rs. 18,000 pm + 16% HRA
5. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (BSc/BS) or equivalent. Preferably in Atmospheric Science or Environmental Science/Studies from a recognized University/Institute.
6. Research Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates with field experience in operating and maintaining aerosol speciation samplers and meteorological instruments. Experience with aerosol filter weighing, laboratory chemicaland data analyses will be an added advantage.
7. Job Profile: Filter preparation, sampling, day-to-day maintenance of instruments, data entry, data consolidation and curate using MS office. Performing Data Quality Assurance / Quality Control exercises.
8. Job location: IISER Bhopal and West Bengal.

1.
