Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Technical Officer / Lead:
- Qualification: Master's degree in Science in any discipline / Mass Communication / Journalism / Content Writing from a recognized University / Institute.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in science communication, scripting educational video content, writing grant proposals, drafting institutional reports, and managing digital outreach strategies.
- Technical Assistant – Video Post-Production & Editing:
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication / Mass Communication / Media Production OR Any Graduate degree with a Diploma in Video Editing / Post-Production from a recognized Institute.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in video editing, audio mixing, color grading, and asset management. Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro is essential.
- Technical Assistant (Graphic Design & Science Illustration):
- Qualification: Master's degree in Fine Arts / Visual Communication / Graphic Design / Science OR Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts / Visual Communication with a Diploma in Animation/Graphics.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in creating scientific illustrations, schematics, cover art for peer-reviewed journals, infographics, and 2D/3D visual assets. Hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender, or Maya.
Terms of Engagement: The appointment is purely temporary and on a contractual basis. Initially for a period of one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and the requirements of the position. The appointed person shall have no claim of absorption in IISER Pune.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Screening: The Screening Committee may restrict the number of candidates based on qualifications and experience if many eligible candidates appear.
- Walk-In Interview: Direct interview on 18 November 2026 starting at 10:00 AM.
- Document Verification: Original certificates must be produced during the interview.
Instructions: Candidates reporting after 10:30 AM will not be considered. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Bringing any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification for the post applied for.
