IISER Thiruvananthapuram Invites Application for Research Associate Recruitment 2021

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. The Institute invites applications for the following positions on contract basis:

1. Post Name: Research Associate

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Name of Project: HPC technologies and large-scale simulation of the electromechanics for the heart function

4. Funding agency: National Supercomputing Mission (NSM). NSM is a joint initiative of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeITY).

5. Minimum Educational qualification: (as prescribed by the funding agency) Ph.D. Degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/ Mechanical engineering related fields.

6. Preference: This project requires strong background in partial differential equations, numerical analsysis and scientific computing.

7. Fellowship amount: 47,000 (Consolidated)

8. Tenure of the post: Project duration is for 1 year 6 months. Initial contract is for 6 months and extendable based on the performance of the candidate.
