Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Route A (B.Tech/B.E.): B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, ECE, EEE, or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of Research & Development experience.
- Route B (M.Tech/M.E.): M.Tech./M.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, ECE, EEE, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent discipline (Experience not mandatory under this route).
- Academic Percentage: At least 60% marks or equivalent grade from graduation onwards; at least 55% marks in Class 10 and Class 12.
- Desirable Skills: Hands-on experience in building experimental setups, prototypes, or laboratory systems; familiarity with control systems, embedded systems, fuel cells, batteries, thermal systems, CAD, simulation, or testing tools.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- The selection will be based on shortlisting of applications followed by a selection test/interview as deemed necessary by the Institute.
- Screening Clause: Merely meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting. The Institute reserves the right to apply a higher cut-off for shortlisting and may choose not to fill the vacancy in this round without assigning a reason.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the selection test/interview.
