3. Title of the Research Project: Thermal melting of the emergent patterns in spin-orbit coupled spinor condensates.

4. Brief description of the project:

The key objective of the project is to theoretically investigate the thermal melting of the density patterns in quasi-one- and two-dimensional spin-orbit-coupled pseudospin1/2 and spin-1 Bose-Einstein condensates. The project will require the development of numerical toools based on Stochastic methods to study the thermal melting in spinor condensates and explore the various measures to quantify the melting

6. Who can apply?

a. The candidate needs to have a master's degree in Physics or equivalent or M. Tech. in relevant subject area with a minimum 60% marks along with a good academic grades throughout, and strong commitment and motivation to pursue research in the subject area.

b. The candidate must have an excellent aptitude for analytic caculations and numerical programming. SC/ST candidates will get relaxation in the minimum marks as per the Government of India rules. 

c. The candidates must have a valid CSIR-UGC (NET or JRF) or a valid GATE score in addition to the qualification mentioned in point ’a’
