Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Assistant Director / Scientist C: Ph.D in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, Chemistry (Rubber/Polymers) or Material Science from reputed institutes; or M.Tech/M.Sc in relevant discipline with minimum 70% marks or CGPA 7.0/10 (or 3.5/5.0); minimum 3 years post-PhD experience (excluding PhD) or 8 years for M.Tech; experience in compound/product development, project planning, failure mode analysis, testing and characterization of rubber/polymer products.
• Senior Scientific Officer / Scientist B: Ph.D in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, Chemistry (Rubber/Polymers) or Material Science from reputed institutes; or M.Tech/M.Sc/B.Tech in relevant discipline with minimum 70% marks or CGPA 7.0/10 (or 3.5/5.0); experience 5-8 years depending on qualification, in R&D or industry involving rubber/polymer compound development, product development, project execution, failure mode analysis, and testing.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

The selection process includes a written test followed by an interview for the Senior Scientific Officer / Scientist B post, and a direct interview for the Assistant Director / Scientist C post. Document verification is conducted at the time of document submission. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview or written examination.
