IGKV Raipur Recruitment 2026: 6 Contractual Vacancies (JRF, RSO, Field Assistant, Lab Attendant) – Apply Offline

The Directorate of Research Services, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV), Raipur, has notified 6 posts under the project "Establishment of Centre of Excellence on Nuclear Agriculture & Food Processing". These are temporary, purely contractual positions co-terminus with the project duration.

Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.Sc. (Ag.) in Genetics and Plant Breeding from a recognized university.
• Radiation Safety Officer (RSO): Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc. / M.Sc. / Degree in Engineering / M.Tech., plus one of the following:
  • Training course on Radiation Safety aspects of Gamma Irradiation Chambers
  • Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological Physics
  • Training course on Radiation Safety Aspects in Research Application of Ionizing Radiation
  • RSO Training for Gamma Radiation Processing Facilities
  • Training course on Radiation Safety Aspects
• Field Assistant (FA) & Lab Attendant (LA): B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.).

Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per VV Rules/CG Gov. rules for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged/Ex-Serviceman/Women/CG domicile candidates.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• JRF & RSO: Selection is based on academic performance and personal interview scheduled for 30 November 2026.
• Field Assistant & Lab Attendant: Direct recruitment based on score card as per V.V. guidelines.
• List of eligible candidates will be uploaded on 27 November 2026.
• Document verification will be done one hour prior to the interview.
• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to shortlisted candidates for attending the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications).
• Radiation Safety Training Certificates (For RSO post).
• Self-attested copies of all certificates and related documents as per application form.
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central/State Government prescribed format (if applicable).
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
