Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Project Scientific Officer (Mechanical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- Project Scientific Officer (Computer Science): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- Project Scientific Officer (Instrumentation & Control): B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- Project Scientific Assistant (Mechanical): 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- Project Scientific Assistant (Electrical): 3-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- Project Scientific Assistant (Electronics/E&C): 3-Year Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- Project Scientific Assistant (Instrumentation & Control): 3-Year Diploma in Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 60% marks.
- Project Scientific Assistant (Physics): B.Sc. (Physics).
- Project Scientific Assistant (Computer): 3-Year Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

Critical Rules: Qualifications must be from UGC recognized Indian Universities / AICTE approved Institutes. Foreign qualifications require UGC/AIU equivalency certificate. For PSA posts, only 3-year Diploma holders are eligible. Candidates with higher qualification than the one prescribed for PSO/PSA (Post Code 01 & 02) will be treated as overqualified and rejected.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Scrutiny: Online applications screened for age, qualification, category, fee payment, and other criteria.
- Project Scientific Officer & Assistant (Code 01 & 02): Selection based solely on Personal Interview. A written test may be conducted for screening purposes only if applicant volume is high.
- Project Administrative Staff (Code 03): Selection based on Written Test and Computer Skill Test.
- Venue: Written test/Interview at Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
- No TA/DA: "No TA shall be paid to attend the written test and/or interview."
