Educational Qualification: M.Sc
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Lab Technician (LT) in the following CCRAS funded project in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Medicine, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Vasant Kunj , New Delhi-110070, India.
1. Project Title: “Study the physiological basis and gut bacterial modulations induced by Virechana (Purgation therapy) in healthy adults: A prospective longitudinal study”
2. Position: Senior Research Fellow (one)
3. Eligibility:
1st class M.Sc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbilogy, Zoology, Botany etc from a recognized university along with NET/GATE or any other equivalent National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc with Minimum 2 years of research experience
4. Desirable: Experience in hospital based clinical research
5. Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 35000/- + HRA
6. Duration: 2 year

The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is a tertiary care, super-specialty hospital located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, India. It was established in 2009 by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi as an autonomous institute under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The ILBS is a mono-superspeciality hospital, which means that it provides primarily liver and biliary care. This focus on a single organ system allows the institute to achieve a high degree of expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of liver and biliary diseases
The ILBS has a team of over 1000 doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The doctors are all highly qualified and experienced in liver and biliary diseases. They have received training in some of the best medical institutions in India and abroad.
The ILBS has a state-of-the-art infrastructure. It has a sanctioned capacity of 549 beds, out of which more than 300 are already operational, 4 operation theaters, a 24x7 emergency department, a blood bank, a pathology laboratory, and a radiology department. The hospital also has a dedicated research center.
