Selection Procedure
(I) The Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only except for items mentioned otherwise in the relevant column of Annexure ‘A’ to this notification. The questions will be set in English only.
(II) There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
(III) Tentative Answer Keys, in due course after the Examination, will be placed on the website of the Board (www.jkssb.nic.in). Any representation regarding Answer Keys received within the time limit fixed by the Board at the time of uploading of the Answer Keys, will be scrutinized and the decision of the Board in this regard will be final. No representation regarding Answer keys shall be entertained, afterwards.
(IV) Marks scored by candidates in written test will be normalized if required, to determine final merit and cut-off marks.
How to Apply:
1. Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) vide Advertisement Notice No. 03 of 2022 dated 26-05-2022 invited online applications from eligible candidates for participating in the selection process for District Cadre Posts of Panchayat Secretary, (Rural Development & Panchayati Raj), and
2. Whereas, the last Date for submission of online applications has been fixed as 06-07-2022; and
3. Whereas, the online portal for receipt of applications from the eligible candidates has been activated on 06-06-2022 and the Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board has received representations from the candidates for extension in the last date for filling of online application forms ;and
4. Whereas, the matter has been examined by the Board and it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of online application for the advertised vide aforementioned advertisement notification No. 03 of 2022 dated 26-05-2022.
5. Now, therefore, in the light of above, the last date for submission of online applications for the posts advertised vide Advertisement Notice No. 03 of 2022 dated 26-05-2022 shall now be 13.07.2022 instead of 06-07-2022.
