Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Super Specialities (Cardiology, CTVS, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neuro Surgery):

• Post-graduate Degree (MD/MS) or DNB in Medicine/Surgery from a Recognized University/Institute
• Degree (DM/MCh) or DrNB or Fellowship in the concerned super speciality

Broad Specialities (Anesthesia, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Nuclear Medicine, Pathology, Radiology, GI Surgery, Oncology, Urology):

• MBBS with Post-graduate Degree (MD/MS) / Diploma / DNB in the concerned speciality from a Recognized University/Institute

Additional Conditions:

• Valid registration with Delhi Medical Council (DMC)
• Only OBC candidates domiciled in the Government of NCT of Delhi are eligible for OBC category with certificate issued by GNCTD. Non-Creamy Layer certificate must be issued within 3 months prior to the last date of application.
• Candidates completing 3 years of Senior Residency may also apply but will be appointed only after fresh candidates' list is exhausted, for one year.
• Post is whole time; private practice is strictly prohibited.
• Appointment subject to physical fitness certificate from the competent medical board before joining.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Shortlisting: Applications will be screened based on qualification and experience if the number of applicants is large.
2. Screening Written Test: May be conducted if the Board deems it necessary after shortlisting.
3. Interview: By a Selection Board constituted by the Competent Authority on 22 December 2026 at 10:30 AM in Board Room, MS Office, First Floor, JSSH.

• Shortlisted candidates will be displayed on www.jsshs.org under Career & Opportunities and on the Administrative Block notice board before 22 December 2026.
• Decision of the Chairman of the Selection Board is final.
• No separate interview call letters will be issued.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
