Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
- Essential: Class X Pass.
- Experience: Experience in block printing and in the use of vegetable dyes.
- Desirable: Knowledge of processes like boiling, dyeing, tailoring, and drawing.
- Age: Not more than 25 years as on 23 November 2026. SC candidates get 5 years relaxation.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- Skill Test: Practical Test in Block Printing, Hand Painting, and Stitching (Duration: 2 hours).
- Written Test: 50 Questions (100 Marks, 3 hours) covering Block Printing, Natural Dyes, Kalamkari, and History of the Craft Centre.
Candidates qualifying in the Skill Test will be called for the Written Test. Merit lists will be prepared separately for UR and SC categories. No TA/DA will be paid except for eligible SC candidates for second-class railway fare to attend the test.
