Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification:
- First class in M.Sc Forestry from a recognized university.
- Minimum one year experience in Research and Development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and Technology organizations in forestry-related studies.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in GIS and Spatial data analysis.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in Ecological studies.
- Willingness and ability to undertake extensive field visits for data collection in remote forest areas.
- Proficiency in programming languages for scientific data processing.
- Working knowledge of GIS tools for spatial data analysis and visualization.
Age Relaxation:
- 5 years for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
- 3 years for Other Backward Communities (OBC) candidates.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- The selection is based on a Walk-in Interview scheduled for 19 November 2026.
- Meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call. If a large number of applications/candidates attend, the Screening Committee may apply specific preference criteria.
- Selected candidates must join within the time frame specified in the offer letter after completing pre-appointment formalities.
- No TA (Travel Allowance) will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.
