Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Paediatrician / Medical Officer (5 posts):
  • Paediatrician: MD / DNB in Child Health or Diploma in Child Health from a recognized institution; candidate must hold valid Travancore-Cochin Medical Registration.
  • Medical Officer: MBBS degree from a recognized university; candidate must hold valid Travancore-Cochin Medical Registration.
• Clinical Psychologist (3 posts): M.Phil in Clinical Psychology with RCI Registration.
• Physiotherapist (1 post): Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT).
• Occupational Therapist (4 posts): Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT).
• Audiologist cum Speech Therapist (2 posts): Bachelor in Audiology, Speech and Language Therapy (BASLP).
• Developmental Therapist (1 post): Degree in any subject from a recognized university and Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Child Development or Diploma in Clinical Child Development. If such candidates are not available, candidates with Master of Health Science in Clinical Child Development (MHSc – CCD) from School of Distance Education, Kerala University may also be considered.

Common conditions: Maximum age 56 years as on 1 January 2026. Candidates arriving more than 30 minutes after the scheduled reporting time will not be entertained.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

1. Screening Written Test (Conditional): An on-the-spot written test will be conducted for shortlisting only if the number of eligible candidates reporting for a particular post exceeds 50.
2. Walk-In Interview: Shortlisted candidates (or all reporting candidates if written test is not triggered) will be interviewed on the same day.
3. Document Verification: Original certificates will be verified during the walk-in process.

No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview or written test.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

1. Original Matriculation / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth / Age
2. All Original Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets for the relevant qualification
3. Travancore-Cochin Medical Registration Certificate (for Paediatrician / Medical Officer posts)
4. RCI Registration Certificate (for Clinical Psychologist post)
5. Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable)
6. Self-Attested Photocopies of all Original Certificates listed above
7. Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)

Candidates must report at Kerala Social Security Mission Head Office, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram on the date and time allotted for their post. Candidates arriving after 30 minutes of the reporting time will not be entertained.

Is there any application fee for KSSM Recruitment 2026?

All 16 posts at KSSM are contractual / temporary in nature. What is the salary structure for KSSM posts?

The monthly remuneration ranges from Rs. 32,580 to Rs. 63,440 depending on the post. The Paediatrician / Medical Officer receives Rs. 63,440, Clinical Psychologist receives Rs. 48,550, Physiotherapist and Audiologist cum Speech Therapist receive Rs. 39,690 each, Occupational Therapist receives Rs. 34,180, and Developmental Therapist receives Rs. 32,580 per month.

Will TA/DA be paid for attending the KSSM walk-in interview?

No. No TA/DA (Travel Allowance / Dearness Allowance) will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview or the conditional screening written test.
