The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (KSCSTE) was established in the year 1972, Itâ€™s an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Kerala. The vision & mission of Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) is to implement programme to achieve excellence in Science & Technology within the State and to provide service to the Society by building Academic and Research Institutions in the State and providing funds as grant in aid to select Institution a programme support for Science & Technology activities,by Conservation, Protection & Management of Physical Environment and Ecosystem through Research & Development and Management action plans in the State. The prime objective of Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (KSCSTE), is to implement plan and formulate Science & Technology and Innovation Policy pertaining to the development of the State by creating excellence in basic as well as applied research to strengthen ecosystem and provide indigenous practice they enhance the Academic Industrial Interaction.
