Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Data Entry Operator (Contract)
- Essential Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) examination passed from a recognized institution by the State Government. CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) conducted by MAP IT passed. Must be a native resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- Experience: Refer to official notification
- Desirable: Refer to official notification
Age Limit
- Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years (as on 01-01-2025).
- For women, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Class, the maximum age limit is 45 years.
Salary
Matrix Level-4 (Rs. 19,500 - 62,000)
Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit from marks obtained in Computer Proficiency in the CPCT exam. Qualifying in English and Hindi typing in CPCT exam is necessary, although typing score will not be added to the merit.

The Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission (MPSEC) is a constitutional body responsible for conducting elections to local self-government institutions in the state. These include Panchayati Raj Institutions such as Gram Panchayats, Janpad Panchayats, Zila Panchayats, and Urban Local Bodies like Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils, and Nagar Panchayats. The Commission functions under the provisions of Articles 243K and 243ZA of the Constitution of India, ensuring that local body elections are held in a free, fair, and impartial manner. The State Election Commissioner is the head of the Commission and works independently of the state government.
The main objective of the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission is to strengthen democracy at the grassroots level.
