Educational Qualification:
GIS Data Manager:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geo-informatics, Environmental Science, Computer Science.
2. Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software like Arc GIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
3. Knowledge of remote sensing techniques and satellite imagery analysis.
4. Experience in spatial data collection, mapping, and analysis.
5. Candidate having experience in working with forest Department will be given preference..
Outreach officer:
1. Graduation & MBA candidate. Experience of working with PA will be given preference.
2. Experience of working in remote areas for child education.
3. All together minimum 2 years of experience in working with community will be required.
4. Strong communication skill specially in English will be required.
Project Assistant:
1. Graduate/Postgraduate in Education or related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of FLN teaching experience, preferably with tribal/rural communities.
3. Prior experience in project management, event coordination, or community initiatives. 4. Strong proficiency in English, Marathi, and Hindi (spoken and written).
5. Ability to design and deliver creative, activity-based learning materials.
5. Passion for education, conservation, and community development.
7. Must own a two-wheeler with valid license for travel across project villages.
Pay Scale:
INR
20000-50000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

Globally as well as nationally, Forest Conservation is increasingly being viewed as a powerful instrument in sequestering carbon and thereby offset adverse climate change. Maharashtra Forest Department, being custodian of the State’s rich and diverse bio-diversity, is committed to a conservation-centric management and protection strategy. Wild-life focused eco-tourism management hinges on sustainability. Production-be it timber / non-timber forest produce is managed with sustainability at its core. Joint Forestry Management to secure natural resources as well as livelihood security remains the major people-centric activity. Attempts are on to hone local artisans’ skill in making value-added articles out of non-timber forest produce like bamboo and cane. Augmenting green cover on non-forest areas to achieve national targets of 33% of land area under green cover remains a forefront agenda. Intensive use of Information and Communication Technology supplemented by e-governance is under effective use to monitor ongoing forestry activities. Extensive use of digital platform to project a true picture of forest conservation forms the central theme.
