Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals, giving full details of educational qualifications and experience, for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in research project entitled “Investigation on the development Al-Al Cladding Material through Compound Casting Process-Experiments and Numerical Simulations” funded by Ministry of Mines, India under the guidance of Dr. Ramesh Kumar Nayak (Principal Investigator), Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, MANIT, Bhopal – 462003.

3. Emoluments: Rs. 31000/- per month + HRA as (As per applicable by the funding agency).

4. Essential Qualification: M. Tech in Metallurgy/Materials/Mechanical Engineering from Reputed Institutes or Universities

5. Desirable Qualification: GATE qualified: 

a) We are looking for fully devoted scientific manpower for the research project.

b) The work will involve the development of die casting mold, casting trails, modeling and simulation of casting process using casting simulation software, characterization of as-cast compound slab such as mechanical and microstructure properties evaluation, rolling of compound casting slab and its characterization, data collection, analysis and report writing.

c) Preference will be given to the candidates having working experience in the field of Metal Casting, modeling and simulation of metal casting process, Rolling and materials characterization using UTM, Hardness test, XRD, SEM, optical microstructure and etc.
